People in the Park is an un-ticketed community event that is all about minimising our imprint on the city of Salisbury. The event is powered through a solar array and some clever technology that draws power from electric car batteries provided by our friends at All the Kit, so you can dance the day away knowing that the event is environmentally friendly!
STC invites a mix of community group stallholders, performers, Local environmentally friendly businesses, live music to celebrate the great things happening in our city across 2 stages with a whole host of live music and guest speakers!

Our youth stage will be back this year by popular demand to showcase the young talent brimming across the city! Expect to see some favourites from 2021 plus a few new faces to rock your socks off!
Both the youth stage and main stage will be powered by the battery of an electric vehicle provided by our Youth Stage sponsors at the Hendy Group, meaning that no fossil fuels will be used to power the event!

This year we are excited to introduce our new Campfire area which is designed to create a space for all of our wonderful community groups, speakers and storytellers to showcase the wonderful things they do in our community!
The Campfire will provide chances for discussions and questions and provide a platform for the people of Salisbury to get involved in the great volunteering opportunities that make Salisbury so special!
As well as music, talks, poetry and storytelling we have also invited local artists and producers who will be selling locally crafted goods as well as businesses who can offer information about sustainable solutions for your home!
People in the Park is an opportunity for the community of Salisbury to learn from each other, exchange ideas and generate plans for working together – to help us all to create a more ethical, just and sustainable future for Salisbury.
